Exciting News

Nepean Sand and Gravel has recently found a new viable source for Sand and Blue Metal along the banks of the Nepean river.

This deposit of high-grade minerals has never been extracted, meaning that extraction costs will be low, increasing profitability.

The success of this mine will also allow of the implementation of the Penrith Lakes Development plan; the pinnacle plan for human use of a mine site. Within 15 years this site will be fully extracted and the land will become a recreational facility, expected to attract thousands of tourists per day to this previously inaccessible area.

A note on ISO 20042:2019 Testing

Recently there has been some concern over the testing of our materials to pass ISO 20042:2019.

As of October 2019 the elevated result  of the ISO 18589-7 tests have not been validated, and thus there is no restriction on the use or deployment of our materials.

Any elevated results in this respect are considered to be natural in origin.
